Founded by William H. Wood, O.D., in 1950, Drs. Wood, Lanier,
Bowman & Rogers is one of Jacksonville's oldest and largest
optometric practices. In recognition of its leadership in the field,
our practice has been written up in numerous national magazines.
Although Dr. William Wood is now retired, his guiding philosophy
of friendly, personalized service is still carried on in the practice,
with a tradition of excellence and advanced technology.

Emergency Service
If you have an eye emergency after regular office hours, one of our
doctors is on-call  24-hours a day to answer your questions and to meet
you at the office, if necessary, to diagnose and treat your problem.

We Love Kids  
We offer a complete range of examination services, glasses and contact
lenses for children.

Drive-up Service
If you are in a hurry, we have the nation's first drive-up service where you
can pick up and drop off many eyecare products without having to get out
of your car. This is one of many patient-pleasing services of Drs. Wood,
Lanier, Bowman &  Rogers.

Treatment of Eye Disease
All five of our doctors are optometric physicians, trained and Board-
Certified to treat most common eye diseases, including conjunctivitis
(pink eye), foreign body removal, glaucoma, dry-eye syndrome, styes,
ocular allergy, eyelid twitching, crossed eyes, ingrown eyelashes,
photophobia (light sensitivity), near-focusing problems, and hundreds
of other ocular problems.  We are also certified consultants for the
diagnosis, referral and follow-up for cataract and laser refractive surgery.
